Still using the original program, and it works well for my purposes.
I store a very large cabinet on 2 external HDs (2 copies of the same cabinet), but on my new desk computer I would like to install the original program, which I no longer have.
Could anyone help, please. I would be most grateful.
The original Papermaster 98 (ver 4) can be downloaded free. It still works well on Windows 10 64 bit (haven’t tried it on Win 11). Is peerless. Needs assistance to get it to install on a 64-bit system, but once installed it runs very smoothly.
Very interested in you did that. Spent most of the day trying to get papermaster 98 to run on a virtual drive with xp on.
Probably just as well you didn’t succeed with XP, because you would’ve been very unhappy with the result. The 64-bit windows 10 solution is brilliant, far better than the original PM98 installations in the early 2000s. I set out all the steps for doing this in a forum discussion on DPreview.com in 2021.
